Our Partial Hospitalization Program

The partial hospitalization program (PHP) is the first four-week phase of Sound Recovery’s twelve-week aftercare program. Following detox and residential treatment, PHP is a step down from inpatient treatment in our continuum of care. Our partial hospitalization program consists of two three-hour sessions of group therapy per day, six days per week, Monday through Friday. Additionally, we hold one three-hour session of group on Saturday.

PHP is a less structured form of treatment, designed for those who have tapered off substances and no longer require 24/7 medical monitoring. The program prepares guests for our intensive outpatient program (IOP), which offers even more flexibility, in addition to being the perfect next step on the path to maintaining sobriety.

We at Royal Life Centers at Sound Recovery designed our partial hospitalization program for individuals as they navigate early recovery. PHP provides a built-in support network while promoting the sustainability of guest sobriety and relapse prevention. As the is the first stage of our twelve-week aftercare program, PHP prepares guests for the start of their aftercare journey.

What to Expect In PHP

Our evidence-based, holistic treatment includes a wide range of groups, therapies, and activities. Our caring, spiritual approach to treatment integrates mental, physical, and spiritual wellness. Throughout all of our programs, including PHP, we incorporate activities such as individual and group therapy, recreational opportunities, and community 12 step meetings. Guests receive all the resources needed to lead lives free of substance dependence.

Our focus on restoring the mind, body, and spirit is the essence of holistic treatment at Royal Life Centers. With our custom-tailored to each individual, we utilize collaborative, comprehensive treatment plans. Guests work closely with their therapist and case manager to ensure that their needs are met and that they’re on track to reach their goals.

Sober Living in Aftercare

At Royal Life Centers at Sound Recovery, guests come first, so we offer only the best, including guest living arrangements. After completing our inpatient programs, guests who would like to continue with us in our aftercare program most commonly will choose to live in our Sober Housing on property. Our Sober housing is only available to current guests who have completed our inpatient treatment programs. We model the responsibility of paying bills and budgeting with low weekly rent for a nice apartment or home that is fully furnished with cable/internet and is accompanied by the safety and security of a sober living staff nearby. Paying rent for sober housing begins after we help you find employment— in phase 2 of the 12-week program. Rent is a weekly cost of $50 (weeks 4-8) and rises to $75 (weeks 9-12).
