Cocaine Treatment

What is Cocaine?

Known as one of the most powerful drugs, cocaine is a stimulant that continues to be glamorized as a popular party drug. In reality, it is dangerous and incredibly addictive. The effects are euphoric but short-lived, and the comedown is so crippling that users desperately seek another high. Users can inject, snort, or smoke the drug. Additionally, intravenous users are at a higher risk of contracting blood-borne infectious diseases like HIV from sharing needles.

Cocaine comes in a white, powder form or rock form known as crack cocaine. Most street-bought cocaine is “cut” or diluted with other chemicals to maximize profit while saving the product. Consequently, users are usually unaware of what they are ingesting and are more likely to suffer an overdose. In any case, the spiral into cocaine addiction is all too easy to fall into, but difficult to climb out of. Thankfully, Royal Life Centers at Sound is here to help.

Our professional, medication-assisted detox safely and effectively detox a person from cocaine. Medical monitoring 24/7 and comfortable arrangements make the withdrawal process as smooth as possible.

What is the next step after detox?

Royal Life Centers provides all levels of care for early recovery. The advised route to take for an individual after detox is to immediately enroll in our residential inpatient program. Residential inpatient provides intensive therapy and education on how to remain sober outside of treatment. Once that is complete, guests decide whether or not they continue on to our nine-week aftercare program. These nine weeks are broken down into equal parts of intensive outpatient Phase 1 and Phase 2, and outpatient. This program is for guests wanting additional support after residential inpatient, and guidance on how to navigate a sober life. If a guest is thriving under our care, we invite them to move into our grad housing after the nine-week program. Grad housing is a sober living program for graduates of comprehensive treatment, who are employed. In summary, the individual decides what next step to take after completing detox. We understand and respect that recovery is different for everyone. That being said, it is proven that those who enter a detox facility and do not continue on with comprehensive treatment are just as likely to relapse as those who detox at home. Therefore, we encourage our guests to take advantage of all the programs that we offer so that they have the best chance at succeeding in recovery.
